Peg Font with embossed Star an Circle pattern. 4 3/4" diameter width and 4 1/4" height.
Fonts of this type were originally used on iron hanging lamps and brackets which employed a peg type font holder. (This font has a 7/16" bottom peg hole.) The Lomax and B&H companies manufactured iron fixtures of this type circa 1876.
