Art Deco was a very popular style from the 1920's to 1940's which focused on glamorous and functional styles. Art Deco has recently gained in popularity. Lamps from this era include accent lamps, boudoir lamps, sconces, chandeliers, bridge arm lamps and torchiere styles. Many of the lamps of this style were considered novelties. With the resurgence of this style, many designers and builders are using it in new applications.
