Center Post Shades. While some designs are Art Deco in appearance, most of our Center-Post Fixture Shades designs are from the 1940s-1950s period. They are all made in the original old molds. All shades have a 7/16" diameter center hole (slip 1/8 IP rod) for mounting close to the ceiling. For mounting these shades see our hardware set No. 69511 Bead-Chain Fixture Shades. Similar in design and function to the Center-Post fixture shades, our Bead-Chain shades however are made with three 1/4" diameter holes for mounting on bead chain fixtures. This type of mounting allows for the shade to hang lower than the center-post mounted shades.
